Welcome to Manitoba

It starts with a sign. Harley squints at it and gasps: “Dad! It says Win a Pig! We have to stop!” Dad laughs. “That’s Winnipeg, buddy.” Harley grins. “Even better! Maybe the pig is waiting at The Forks!”

The Story

Harley and Dad wander through The Forks, noses (one human, one golden) leading them straight to the Children's Museum. Inside, Harley is dazzled by colours, giggles, and a pink plushie perched on a shelf with a sign that reads “Take Me Home.”

Dad smiles. “Looks like you did win a pig after all.” Harley gasps. “His name is Snorty!” Snorty oinks softly, his floppy ears twitching as Harley hugs him tight.

From that moment on, Snorty rides shotgun in Oliver, grinning out the window and squeaking happily whenever the road bumps. By the time they cross the border, Harley whispers, “This might be my luckiest stop yet.”

Soft, pink, and full of cheer, Snorty is Harley’s souvenir from The Forks Market in Winnipeg. With floppy ears and a friendly smile, he’s quick to giggle and quicker to nap.

Snorty loves road trips almost as much as Harley does — especially when the snack bag makes that crinkly sound. Whenever Harley gets restless, Snorty oinks, “Patience, pal.” Somehow, it always works.

Harley’s note: “I thought I’d Win a Pig... and I did!”
