The Story

Harley, the snack-loving golden dog, and his best friend Dad as they head off on a sunny seaside adventure! From building sandcastles and chasing waves to finding shiny seashells and making the perfect picnic fort, it’s a day full of laughs, discoveries, and snacks (of course). Ride along in Berty the Jeep and experience the magic of friendship, the ocean breeze, and one very happy dog’s best day ever.

Fun Facts

Sea Smells Like Snacks: Dogs have over 300 million scent receptors, and salty sea air is a scent buffet! Harley says the ocean smells like “fish biscuits and freedom.”

Sand Castle Science: Wet sand sticks together because of surface tension. That means Harley’s pawprints are basically nature’s engineering — snack-powered architecture at its finest.

Behind the Scenes: This story was inspired by Harley’s first trip to the beach — where the wind flipped Dad’s hat, Harley chased a crab, and the tide almost stole the biscuit bag. The sandcastle really was shaped like a bone.
